Thanks, guys. I wasn't saying I'm as bad as the wizards, just that on the surface I have things in common with them and that I can't understand the mindset. Yeah, I know, quitting and floating through life is tempting at times, but it's a terrible option.
Like I've said before, if you realize you have problems and try to improve yourself, you're farther along in life than Chris (and the wizards, for that matter).

Suicide is the coward's way out.
It's telling people you couldn't handle things, therefore your going to take your own life and pass on all your hatred and grief to the people who care about you.
You're mother carried you in her womb for 9 months entirely to give you life one day, and committing suicide is spitting in your mother's face and telling her your father should have used a condom. If you're unwilling to do that to your parents, believe me they'll feel like you did it after you go through with it.

It is predominantly selfish, and you might think you're "ending your pain" when in reality your hurting every single person around you with your selfishness. And being a Wizard is all about being selfish but suicide is the most selfish act a person can do. So it comes to no surprise that they think about it constantly.

It is not warranted nearly to this extent because of observation bias begotten by a slow-moving board. This is why the harassment of the developer of Depression Quest was pinned on them - the threads on 4chan B et. al. became deleted from age, but this did not happen on Wizardchan. An examination of the thread in question did not advocate harassment. This did not deter Escapist and other blogs who pinned this on them, putting them on various boards' radars.
The likely motivation for going over the board with a fine toothed comb is delusion and self-aggrandisement so that one's perceived status in the world becomes higher.
Disclaimer - not a wizard, I just prefer their company.
