Why were join dates erased?

Everything looks so blank now without reaction score or join date. Null is really fickle, he makes the dates color coded, he then makes the colors change as years pass just recently and now they're gone. Null's little site-altering fit he's been on the past few days is kind of annoying.

Like others said, I'm sure it's a part of the forum editing thing Josh has been doing. The funny thing is that two years ago, we didn't have the join dates put under people's pfps. Right before he enabled the join date thing, Josh mentioned that he wouldn't do it because Something Awful did it (and he typically despises SA forums).

People who joined this site in 2022 were going around acting like they were oldfags and making fun of 2023-2024 users. It was pretty silly

They were added on a whim and now they make even less sense because everyone was basically permabanned if they didn't have a real email after the site was hacked for the ?th time

I think he just wanted to get rid of other points of contention alongside the issue with the reactions. It's funny how Null does more to prevent doxing and harassment in his community than other social media sites.

They weren't here when I joined. He added them in late 2021 iirc

He started colour-coding them in the last few years. But apart from that, I'm 99% sure they were unchanged since at least 2018, when I first signed up.
