Because we evolved in the savanna and enjoy the feeling of running water on our skin for personal hygiene. Problem is, it sucks when you get done and you feel cold and naked.
Speaking of species that prefer water: fuck fish, fuck turtles, fuck the goddamn seagulls who float around in cold water and get soaked with freezing rain like it's no big deal even though I think it would be complete bullshit to have to deal with that ...whatever. I thought you were one of us. Some dinosaurs you are.
