Me personally, I think its end stage capitalism. Not in the gay way where we need hecking based communism, but theres only so much to accumulate before people start trying to squeeze blood out of stones. Companies have trillion dollar net worths and to increase it they need to do insane shit like buy up SFHs or increase food prices/shrinkflate them, etc etc.

But I would like to see what you all think it is and why you think so!

end stage capitalism.
Nobody ever explains what this means or what the supposed stages leading to the death of a market economy are.

It hasn't been a gradual decline over time that would square with "end stage", either - there have been far harder times in the past and times when the average person could far more easily be exploited.

It's extremely simple.

The national debt. The more it goes up, the less purchasing power the dollar has. Housing isn't getting more expensive, the money to buy it with is getting weaker.

Everything is poor quality and there's no enforcement of anything. "Like how many s this even harming you?" is the creedo of the civically flabulent.
Kind of like the 80s Soviet Union. We even have the succession of decrepit, corrupt old farts and dumbass wars for no reason.

Of course they also weren't $40 trillion in debt.

This is why the meme of "men always think about the Roman Empire" exists.
It's because the US is the modern day Roman Empire and it's falling apart for exactly the same reasons - mass migration, corrupt government spending time, money and effort on pet projects instead of fixing the nation, the legal system favoring certain demographics over others, rampant degeneracy etc.

Look up the last century of the Roman Empire and then compare the situation to 2026 America.
It's the same fucking thing. The only thing missing is the Trump administration releasing a holy book to try unifying the nation under a new religion.

It’s a bit of a long read but this was posted over 10 years ago and still holds up to this day.

In my opinion, compassion and empathy are the twin scourges of our ability to progress and improve ourselves and our country.

Late stage capitalism drags out longer than the entire existence of most communist countries, go figure

Capitalism itself isn't bad. There are many ways to do capitalism. Neoliberalism is. Neoliberalism and globalism are failing. Why? Because neoliberalism made it so nothing was used for its real purpose. Now everything is now a capital investment that boomers and big corporations can snag up, like homes for example. People don't buy them to live in anymore, they treat it as an investment to get rich off of. Now new homebuyers who actually need the house are getting priced out because some rich assholes are driving up the price trying to get more rich. People are trading the fundamentals of the present in exchange for chasing bigger profits in the future, which isn't sustainable and neglects the foundations for a healthy society. This is also the root of infinite immigration, the people in power don't care about making sure the existing population lives well, they see us as disposable resources that can be replaced at a whim by cheaper more profitable workers from the third world. Future generations can suffer, I wanna live in my mansion. This mindset is making everything shitty and terrible.

I have two employees. One has kids. The other doesn’t. Their lives are shit and their life outside of work consists of ruining it more so they have to work harder to get more money so they can make even more mistakes. They are stuck in this cycle and have low expectations and accept their lot in life.

They will not take advice or cues for assistance and instead seek to grift in order to be inventive in forwarding their lives.

I do not judge them; I pity them and have come to realize they won’t change anymore so than I will. I have goal; they have dreams. I recognize my dreams aren’t real whereas they think by luck or lottery, it might happen.

People no longer want to build shit up anymore. Everyone's way of making money is, "Let me jam myself awkwardly between 2 people exchanging money and get a free 20% cut for being the middle man". It should be, "Let me make a new restaurant chain so good that it outcompetes everyone else". "Let me invent something so useful everyone will buy it". You laugh, call me a boomer if you like, but that's the mindset that built America.

I don't believe America is falling. Life here is pretty swell on my end. :gunt:

That's dumb. America is too awesome to fall. 8)

To be honest, it isn't. You can live extremely comfortable and work 30-40 hours a week, you just have to be entrepreneurial and have a valuable skill set. If you find yourself blaming anyone but yourself for why you aren't successful, you seriously need to change your mindset. No one is broke because of Trump or Biden. No one is broke because of hillbillies or niggers. Just try harder. I used to blame niggers and libs, but their impact on your life is inconsequential. If their impact is anything more than inconsequential, you need to change you. If Trump's impact on your life is anything more than inconsequential, you need to change you. If you are anything more than indifferent about the impact of Jews on your life, change you.
