Why do people who possess "esoteric" knowledge not use it in any meaningful way? - Why do they spent their time posting on obscure websites instead of getting a job in the field they're interest in?

Its easier for esoteric retards to find other esoteric retards this way. Nobody has time to read each others' books to find out who's somewhat reasonable, we have post histories that take 8 seconds to gloss over

Because it is all make belief.

If a nigga could really cast fireball, he would be in some glowie bunker getting waterboarded.

I would just use Summon Gold myself. They would crown me King of Israel.

If you have been interested in politics and conspiracy theories, you know exactly what type of people I'm referring to. These people would spend their time writing literal pages of their knowledge on certain topics on 4chan, X / Twitter or even Kiwifarms but would then go and complain about how their life sucks, how miserable they are, how they can't find a job, etc. If you have so much knowledge, why aren't you monetizing it? Why don't you try to get into the field in the topic you're interested in instead of spending your time arguing with other schizos on the Internet
/x/ here. Here's why. They already know

Unless they are becoming a professor, and want to put up with the hell that is modern day academia, there isn't really much they can do with it. Many jobs, including ones that involve their interest, require social skills and if they cannot stand talking about anything but their preferred subject, they won't go anywhere in life. They won't make it past the interview stage, and when they do, they will be found off putting immediately.

The stoic thinkers they goon about were basically patreon-whores who had great financial interest in exposure and... "clickability". In today's society they would be nobodies, not end up like our favorite cows. That said, what would smart people do to change society? Unless you can invent an objective new piece of tech or discover a fucking atom, you're never gonna have as much impact as the jew with the billions.

Smart people and those who did well in school did so either out of their own fun/interest or complete submission to society's grooming. To be good at education is to be good at a niche application of certain skills. It doesn't translate to other real life aspects, which is why they tend to also do a PhD and end up teaching for a living. It's like being good at theory but not practice, so you just "happen" to stick around in a theoretical field. Like a professional fantasy leaguer.

I've seen a few "what happened to the gifted student at your school" thread and they always ended up in a generic job or killed themselves. To say "omg you're so smart you should change the world" is the same as telling the tall nigger he'd be good at basketball.

Bumping because I was looking for a thread on western esotericism on here and I guess this is the closest one? I'd say there's an interesting bell curve where if you believe in shit like Kabbalah, Hermeticism, Gnosticism, alchemy, secret societies, hidden history, etc. You're either a weird schizo homeless person/NEET, or a billionaire hedge fund analyst, and there's like no in-between lmao.
My personal take is I think when I read into western esotericism and especially how it is/or how people think it's applied now especially in lieu of what we know with the Epstein files, learning about it to me is interesting because even if you think it's all bullshit and retarded and as Richard Nixon once said when he visited the Bohemian Grove "some of the faggiest shit I've ever seen", it does effect you because while you might not believe it, they do.
That doesn't mean that if I like reading books on the subject that I think I'm going to do some fucking incantation to stop the Rothschilds or whatever, I just think it's interesting to read. Some people read Harry Potter books, some like true crime, I like books on summoning Canaanite and Sumerian demons and the historicity of those practices. But I will say, interacting with people really deep into western esotericism for the most part is insufferable. A lot of them have a huge stick up their ass and thinks anyone that doesn't subscribe to their autistic understanding of Hermetics is an "NPC", and there's a lot of humorless gatekeeping cunts for a subject that by its nature, is already gatekept. This shit is occult and esoteric for a reason, most people don't have the patience or don't have an interest in it.

"Okay, so... Basically it never happened BUT they also deserved it. Get it?"

"You're hired."

It all depends on what you mean by esoteric.

If you mean "behind the scenes" knowledge of how things actually work then any attempt at spreading and bringing attention to the truth will be met by the harsh reality of just how the retarded the average voter truly is. If by some chance you manage to built an audience big enough that it begins to matter and if what you are spreading is a real threat to them then the elites will come at you with everything they got: from among it financially impossible to spread your message up to killing you. If you want but a small taste of this then go on any mainstream platform and share some... spicy takes and bits of trivia regarding the Nazis, jewish involvement in media, white replacement and so on. See if you can make a living doing that.

However if by esoteric you mean witchcraft, schizo posting or obscure religious beliefs then:

a - the average person might listen but getting them to pay is a different matter, one which will require you to drop any passion or interest you might have in the subject and instead focus on the pseudo-witchract, wiccan and new age type shit only the most deranged and faithless white women can take seriously.

b - most of the real, worthwhile tomes of esoteric knowledge preach and teach that you should aim at transcending the material world, including money.

Monetizing knowledge is for fags. Speak freely and live like Diogenes in a barrel, jerk off in public to make a point.

Because I do not learn things for material gain in life but because the learning is intrinsically valuable, it is my gain.

It’s a spiritual discipline to make rambleposts about slavery and Cherokees all over Kiwi Farms.

'cause most esoteric knowledge is literally just schizophrenics rambling about nonsense. I met a former CiA guy. I redid his entire house. Play one of the most unimpressive people I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Real dumb ass.
