If I did that it wouldn't be because of hating a containment subforum but just to see the chaos as they spread out across the rest of the forum and people chimped out about it.

I would make the website accessible via basic html and have a bulletin board mode that can be accessible with old terminals like a vt100

In addition I would turn the chat into a webirc client that can be accessed off the browser. Oh while im at it every thread would have a file associated with it in basic text so if you are in the uk or some other shit you can download the whole thread to bring on the go.
