When Chris dies, I expect to see a few Sachumo-style documentaries detailing his escapades. Depending on how he dies, I may expect to see a focus on his Kacey calls and how he refused to do anything about his numerous health problems despite her spelling them out.
 
Assuming he doesn't lose it and an hero from stress when Barb dies, he'll be discovered eventually by police entering whichever residence he's living in after someone local reports that the autist down the street hasn't left his house for weeks. His body will be quite decomposed and partially consumed by the bugs that reside in the hoard.
