In my Opinion its the manifestation of his desires unrealized. True friends, a boyfriend free girl, lots of money, praise from the people he respects, a body he's comfortable in. The anger, misery, jealousy, and pain from these unrealized desires manifest and take form in the The Curse. The true form of the could be anything Chris admires, currently its thought of as Magi-chan as he's thinks that's his wife. But I think the curse also only affects people with girlfriends, as Chris really didn't like men with girlfriends or wives as that's the future he doesn't have. As I know the current victims list is: Chris-Chan(Girlfriend with Barb), Ralph(Wife), Rekieta(Wife). and Riley(Potato Girlfriend). Maybe it didn't affect Null With his coin run because as far as the Farms know he didn't and still doesn't have a girlfriend.
