The only elder scrolls character I really remember was playing as the cat dude and maxing out hand to hand combat because I thought it would be funny and it was pretty funny. You end up getting OP pretty fast but it was always kind of disappointing going through a dungeon or doing a quest and getting a sword or some shit as a reward. And it's been a long time since I played it but if I remember right oblivion's armour system is kind of meh, mostly just being straight tiered upgrades, it kind of made treasure hunting a bit lame because most of the cool shit was weapons.

i first picked breton in ESO many years ago because all my friends were in DC and it was the only magika-friendly race in the faction and i wanted to be a magika templar. after a couple thousand hours it became my favorite race lore-wise. didn't matter after a while, eventually alliance swapped to AD and started playing as more of a tank and would probably have benefited more from nord or lizard but never race swapped. trifecta'd all content up to the skyrim expansion and got emperor a few times on a shitty non-meta class, with a shitty non-meta race, with a shitty non-meta build, get fucked tryhard metaniggers. i don't miss that game but had a lot of fun with it still
