What if Chris got a stomach band or even gastric bypass surgery. You can never eat the same way again and for the first year or so you have to live off liquid nutrition and soft foods like oatmeal and mashed food almost like being a baby again but it gets results. Plus while a band isn't as effective as a full bypass it is reversible

Look to Wings of redemption as proof some people cannot change. Chris only changes for the worst it seams, so him getting surgery would likely end in a relapse into poor eating and gaining back the weight

Chris thinks he's immortal in this world. If that were so, he'd live to see the eventual death of Earth, then the Sun, and then - much, much, much later - likely the heat death of the universe.
If he knew that stuff, maybe he'd make up that his "goddess powers" would keep everything alive forever.
Eternal 1C-211987* - a world of cartoons Chris likes with Chris as the absolute ruler - sounds like hell.

Honestly that's not very far fetched since it's not like anything would change in his life if he died. It's not like he has friends or a job to go to, the only difference is that Barb couldn't see/talk to him.

He wanted to do a degree in marketing but Bob switched him to CADD, and absolutely nothing would've changed. Chris would end up being a useless neet still leaching off his parents and the guberment no matter what he majored in.
