What if Sega released a Sonic reboot in which Sonic is a female with no explanation whatsoever (think new Ghostbusters)? Would Chris be happy that they're pandering to the SJW/Feminist demographic and turned his hero into a woman just like him, or would he rage once again because they changed his beloved Sonic time without his consent again?

as long as female sonic's arms aren't blue I'm sure Chris will be all over it

If they release a game with male Sonic later he'll have blarms regardless if it's the original canon or not.
