I agree, but twice is a bit of an understatement.
It'd be more interesting if it happened post-Barb, whilst she's not exactly a saint when it comes to money Chris makes her look like Littlefinger.
I mean, can you imagine him buying a house?

What if CWC had a major health scare, like a heart attack, or a more minor one like The Beetus? Would he change his ways?

He'd probably use it for sympathy, blame it on stress, realise that it was too much effort to change his lifestyle and buy legos instead of his meds. Considering Bob didn't seem terribly bothered by his multiple heart attacks, I wouldn't be surprised if Chris had a similar attitude.
