If there's a mortgage to pay when Barb passes, will Chris even understand how necessary it is to pay it off? I'm not sure if it's giving him too much or not enough credit to assume he'd just deal with it like he does with his credit cards. It's kind of depressing wondering what will happen once Barb passes--Chris will be upset and no one will be able to or want to help him with finances after that (Unless Anna's going to take that role, but that seems rather unlikely.)

What if Chris had been born in 1972?
I saw the 1992 thread and wondered, how would his life have turned out in the opposite case?
I'm going to pick the day he created Sonichu as the main point of divergence for '72 Chris. He could not have done it in 1990, because neither of its two components existed yet. What, if anything, would he have shat out instead?
How would he have amused himself circa 1990? It's very unlikely he would have had internet that early. Would he have become addicted to the video games of the day? Would he have preferred something like Dungeons and Dragons instead? Would he have discovered Sonic when it arrived in 1991?
At what point would he have gotten the internet? He might have remained obscure if he had waited until late in the decade in this alternate universe. If he had drawn She Came in 1997 (for this speculation, let's assume Megan and everyone else in Chris's life was also born 10 years earlier) it's possible no one would have ever seen it if he had not yet gotten the internet. Then again, without E.D. trolls for him to try to shock, he might not have drawn it at all. He couldn't post anything to Youtube, Youtube didn't exist yet. What other ways would he have found to embarrass himself?

His father would probably have been a WW2 vet instead of a Korean war vet.
He would have been into D and D, Super Mario brothers, and singing madonna songs in a high pitched way
On a more serious note: It is unlikely he would have been able to advance to high school, much less graduate from it. There was really very little special education in the '80s, never mind autism centered special education. There would have been no school that would have been willing to take Chris whether in Greene County, or any other county really.
Not saying that his education made a big difference to him but..... just sayin'...

The 80s would have been rough for him, but he'd be far better off today. Like Scuttle456 said, he would have been forced into special education, and there would have been far less asspatting going on in his life as a young adult in the 90s. Gen-X'ers weren't exactly the poster children for social niceties.

If every other circumstance were the same, Barb would be thirty and probably unwed. Chris still wouldn't stand a chance, probably wouldn't be coddled so much by the system, and when walking down the halls of his middle school kids would throw pennies at him and scream "OPTIMUS PRIME IS DEAD". Also, He-Mansformers would be the new Sonichu.
