Nobody would ever know. Cole pretty much has her dead to rights on the obvious discrepancies about the identity of his real father, and she still refuses to admit it, or level with him.
Chris isn't exactly Columbo. He could be staring right into the face of an inexplicably generous, fat, balding, stripey shirt wearing older guy that he's known his whole life as "Uncle Dad", and it would still never dawn on him.

PacSol is right, he'd never make it past the front doors of a police academy, let alone become a TRUE and HONEST jerkop.
I hope they'd give him administrative duty so he wouldn't be out on the mean streets of Charlottesville.
I know a sheriff's deputy and his family, and he doesn't like giving out his home address for security reasons. Chris and Barb would need to move, everyone knows their address.
The deputies here in Stark County use Glock 22C's as their service weapon. I got to shoot a sheriff deputy's gun a couple of times. I would hope the same thing that applied to Barney Fife applied to Chris: he'd only get one bullet and he'd have to keep it in his pocket.

There's a few pictures of Bob where you can really see how much Chris looks like him. So he is definitely the Father.

Baldness is a marker on the X chromosome, though. So that'd be something Chris inherited from Barb's side of the family.

For anyone familiar with the Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime series...
Kyuubey, being one of the most successful trolls ever for the young girls who contract with him, easily convinces Christian to make a wish and become a Puella Magi, since OPL has a similar mentality of a young girl. Now Christian can fight witches/trolls (most likely trolls) with his newfound powers and magical tomgirl outfit! That is, if he ever gets himself to GO WORK ON IT.
What wish did Christian make to Kyuubey?
What does Christian's magical tomgirl outfit look like?
What unique wish-related power does Christian have? (i.e. Sayaka's instant healing, Homura's time powers, etc.)
Would Chris even want to fight witches? Would he be too lazy or cowardly? Or would he abuse his powers to simply get revenge on the trolls and/or find a sweetheart?
What event leads to Chris's downfall and transformation of a witch?
What would Chris look and act like as a witch? What would his barrier and familiars look like? (I think CWCville and Sonichu, respectively)

It causes a few neurons to fire and Chris realizes he doesn't have to obey Barb. The only power she has over him is what he allows her to have, and all of her threats are hollow.
What would he do?

He'd go to social events intended for people of his mental age (Pokemon card tournaments, Toys 'R' Us Lego events, etc), reclaim his own room, start playing his God-promised 8 hours a day of vidya again, and stay out as long as he pleased when running errands. That's pretty much it.
