On March 25th, 2021, Trump passes the RECOVER Act, a broad stimulus package passed through budget reconciliation including massive spending towards different things. It includes remnants of Trump's promised infrastructure act, more COVID stimulus checks, enlarged tax credits, and a greatly reduced version of the Platinum Plan, a proposal by Trump during the election cycle to provide 500 billion in funding for black communities.
During August of 2021, the Taliban captures the Afghan capital of Kabul from escaping American troops. An ISIS uprising begins within the nation against the Taliban, leading to a prolonged and confusing conflict. Trump makes various threats throughout, and strangely attempts to ally with ISIS, but this leads to nothing but another civil war.
On November 23rd, 2021, Trump announces that Covid is "over" on his twitter, and vows to end the ongoing lockdowns and restrictions in place. Masks are made voluntary on flights, and a massive vaccine distribution plan is enacted.
On February 3rd, 2022, Saudi Arabia recognizes the government of Israel through the ongoing Abraham accords.
On February 24th, 2022, Russia invades Ukraine. Trump ends the conflict overnight by offering to blow Putin on live TV.
On June 30, 2022, Trump appoints judge Gregory Katsas to the Supreme Court to succeed retiring justice Stephen Breyer.
On August 5th, 2022 Trump signs the NOFLATION Act into law in order to combat the rising inflation of the post-Covid years. The law is passed through budget reconciliation and includes a mix of tax cuts, and reigning in some Covid era spending.
During the 2022 midterm elections, Republicans preform poorly, losing 43 House seats and 3 Senate seats (Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Wisconsin.)
On October 7th, 2023, Hamas attacks Israel, and Trump calls for "unconditional support" for Israel.
On February 23rd, 2024, Trump endorses Ron DeSantis for the Republican presidential nominee, calling him "Ron DeSpectular."
