Alot of westerners dont realize that in Asian countries, they are often seen with awe and treated more exceptionally than the average asian to asian interaction
and as such there has been a rise of Westerners who marry a Chinese person and move to China to live there.

but a thing with Chinese and Asian countries
when you marry an asian person, you often marry their family aswell
so MOST well functioning families are families that doesnt have inter-family disputes and everyone gets along with one another
which means always treating your in laws well and your in laws NEVER INTERFERING with your married life, but more or less encourage your wife/husband to listen to you or compromise so everything goes well.

its often looked down upon when you are the in-law that actively interferes with your child's marriage over trivial things (things that are not extreme i.e. domestic violence)

but these channel shows people a glimpse of life in China outside of the politics
and how things are there now. and what its like living with an asian family.

The Fisher-Zhangs in China is a channel about a british man with his chinese wife living in china with their two kids

Marissa In China is a channel about an American woman living with her chinese husband in China

And they say saying bad things about China isnt allowed?
https://www.youtube.com/@TheWorldnUs a channel about 2 white folks living in China

EDIT: These 2 examples of people spreading propaganda,
thanks to @Preacher ✝ for looking into them slightly a bit more.

Jason Living in China, is a channel about a british man with his chinese wife living in China

Another American woman living in China

and theres a shit ton more out there
but it also gives you a glimpse of what family life is like with an asian family.
and what life is like being a white person in a country that isnt a PVP server due to the non-whites.

My initial impressions of these various channels from the video thumbnails and descriptions. Firing from the hip.

The Fisher-Zhangs in China is a channel about a british man with his chinese wife living in china with their two kids
Generic vlogger vibes, nothing too suspicious here.

Marissa In China is a channel about an American woman living with her chinese husband in China
Sub-mid woman with average Chinese guy, seems like relatively wholesome family content though.

Jason Living in China, is a channel about a british man with his chinese wife living in China
Big propaganda vibes and clickbait slop.

Another American woman living in China
Same as above but woman and not as successful at it.

Be careful with this genre of content, its got a lot of propaganda, clickbait, and combinations of both.

Also, doesnt Geno Samuel live in China?

Haven't watched any videos yet but the titles sound pretty propaganda-y.

You forgot my boy Laowhy and Vivi.

Influencer whites in China get paid to shill for China online so I'm highly suspicious of all of the "my happy life in China" videos and assume they're propaganda.

That picture is pretty awesome. Could tell it was Laowhy before I could remember his name. Haven't watched him or his friend from South Africa in years, but I remember a couple cool videos, one where they rode their motorbikes up to the border with NK and another where they went to some ethnically Russian village in China.

But also, does this count?

yeah after delving in Jason and the US woman at bottom's content a bit further after posting this
they seem a bit... uhh..

but Geno Samuel lives in China and the rural village/town he's in even published an article of how his wife got a white husband
lol
it was in one of Geno's updates on youtube when he moved there.

I feel like most of these dudes are assets. Of whom?

Hell if I know.

This edit isn't even inaccurate, like WTF is this??

Mandibular prognathism.
A susceptibility locus was identified on chromosome 14q24.3-31.2, with a nonparametric linkage score of 11.341 (empirical P = .020) and a logarithm of the odds score of 2.032 (empirical P = .008). Haplotype analysis refined the candidate locus to a 10.62-cM interval (72.42 to 83.14 cM; 74.57 to 84.66 Mb) between rs1468507 and rs7141857. Within this interval, the candidate functional genes are TGFB3 and LTBP2. In conclusion, the authors detected a suggestive linkage for mandibular prognathism in a Han Chinese pedigree, and this finding can be combined with previous studies to further understand the genetic basis of mandibular prognathism - https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/21041550/
There are several things to consider regarding the inherited susceptibility to MP in Class III malocclusion. First, the prevalence rate of MP is known to vary according to ethnicity. Hardy et al.,2 in a meta-analysis, reported that East Asians have the highest prevalence of MP, with approximately 18.0%, and are followed by Middle Easterners, Europeans, and South Asians, who have the lowest prevalence (1.2%). - https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8722834/
I guess they didn't include blacks in the study since you can't tell if they have it or a normal black person jaw.

Came across this guy who is apparently a "white monkey" worker in the Chinese film industry.

He's pretty open about what he does (which usually amounts to participating in expensive propaganda) but I won't be surprised if something happens to him due what he says or if he moves out of the country.

I've always liked Wonton Don from Barstool, for many years he lived in China and would document all sorts of weird stuff that goes on there, as well as weird things he would just do himself.

He hasn't done much Chinese stuff in recent years though.

Since Xi kicked out all the critical vloggers this genre isn't as interesting to me since its just going to present the same lopsided romantic view as all the other official stuff coming out of China.

This woman pisses me off in particular. Her stuff is recommended to me sometimes, and so are other retarded "pregnancy" influencers for china. They are paid to tout how nice and good Chinese hospitals- especially the pregnancy experience, are. Despite Chinese hospitals being shitholes that you MUST PAY IN CASH to receive treatment ever.

This is a LUXURY hospital.
You get to labor in a giant room with 20 other women!
Private room costs extra, and looks like a cheap hotel bathroom.
Still gotta bring your own supplies.

Your doctors office is never private!

not expat content, but Small Brained American made a great series on china that's not just slop "everything is great and i can totally criticize china" propaganda

as-per the experience of a few people i know who've lived there, it's a good representation. i especially like the video where he goes to that one building that got famous for having "30k people living in it" and when he got there he discovered it was all nepo kids LARP'ing as influencers and living like absolute crackhead degenerates. like, the whole building is just a dumping ground for the degen children of chinese millionaires, who then tried to make their crackhead-ass living situation into an influencer thing.
