Oh no, what have they done to Jean-Paul's face? My poor boy...

There is a multitude of answers, but in reality, someone snuck a kiss into the final and that is what made it official. Before then it was implied at best, but not really a thing.
I remember the first hint was that episode where they're stuck in the canyon, and Marceline is surprised that Bubblegum kept the sweater she gifted her, and Bubbles said it "means a lot" or something. Apparently, it caused such a massive controversy that a YouTube channel that discussed the show was deleted because it went crazy pushing the dyke shit before that type of retconning became mainstream.

Wasn't this around the time Korsami from Avatar was pushed too? That was caused by executive meddling and pandering to fans. I wish I had taken a screenshot because when the finale aired I saw a quote from Kora's or Asami's voice actor that said they didn't see anything in the script about the end scene and were as surprised as the audience when it aired. Friendships be damned you're all roomates gay now.

Also, it confirms that aliens are nephilim bc Lilo prays for an angel to be her friend
Fun fact: There was a sequel series all about recapturing the other experiments Jumba created (making his initial denial of creating something even more of a lie), and it introduces a love interest for Stitch named Angel. So your statement actually makes a lot of sense.
The story is very human and is able to communicate the parallels of the threat of Stitch's capture with Lilo's getting taken away
Best part is the resolution. Lilo, Stitch, Nani are all afraid of losing their family, and the movie ends with the space government making it illegal to separate them at all.
I've only watched this one other time. I think it tries too hard to pull at the heartstrings
This was one of the few movies to actually make me cry when I first saw it in theaters, but even I'll admit that they went overboard with the piano theme.
Still pissed this won't be put to theaters.
Hey, KPop Demon Hunters started as a Netflix exclusive, and look how that turned out. Maybe another miracle will happen.
