Best Sims moment for me was Stryker's failed suicide in Livestream 3. Such a brilliant game-trolls-him moment.

I wish he was a little more... 'emotionally out of control' let's say, for last night's Sims stream. His reactions would have been larger.

I just want to point out, once you make someone an enemy in TS2 it's actually really hard to get them back to indifferent, and if you do it on an apartment or community lot you'll get a reputation as a jerk which will cause other sims to avoid you and start with a lower relationship score when you meet them for the first time. Couple that with the way memory tokens are handled in TS2, and you could wind up being the public enemy #1 for generations.

Yeah, but don't they have aspiration rewards and abilities you can earn that would- nevermind, Jace would actually have to make his sim happy and help them achieve THEIR dreams to unlock those. Apartments add-on had the reputation thing and I never bothered to learn how it works. I just noticed that when my sims talked to people they'd be introduced to other people or get a promotion at work because I didn't choose rude introductions or threaten people with a mary sue character.

Only once did I have a social worker take a kid away and that was when I was actively trying to see what it took to make it happen. I think I had to let my infant out on the street for days. This was Sims 2 though. If you have money you can hire a nanny but I always tried to have my sims be financially stable and have one quit work to stay home to watch the kid. Or build a robot. Robots are cool.

I really think Jace should reboot his sims character and with all the expansions if he doesn't already have them. Let him cheat himself a mansion, money, and friends but from then on he'd have to play legit. Stryker's current adventures are just depressing. It's an old man in a houseboat, neglecting his schizo son, and resenting his adopted daughter because she's black. It's a funny ending but that's just it, it's an ending. Jace is waiting for his sim to die.

If someone here has access to Jace they should suggest that to him. Just tell him to roleplay that it was all just Jack having a nightmare and the game could start with Jack getting out of bed in his mansion, with his non-cheating wife. Someone throw some expansions at him if he's willing to do this and they're willing to fuel the fight.

There are plenty of wacky moments in the Fact Zone/QA Zone/Chalk Zone. I died at the guy imitating Mario from Hotel Mario with the quote AY JACE? YA LIKE TOASTAS? WELL YA KNOW WUT DAY SAY! AULL TOSATAS... TOAST TOAST!

Then jace is all unfazed going "what the fuck was that?"

This is the only Sims streaming I've seen Jace do, but Christ is he immersed and his projecting is so fucked. I just can't wrap my head around how he's so bad at this game or how perfectly the game set him up to feel like Benito was how his own father viewed him. I actually had a sinking feeling in my stomach rather than laughing by the end of it. Too fucked.

I'm not sure if Jace has the Overwatch mod (probably not), that mod will reset any stuck / unroutable Sims. Benito was probably constantly route-failing (no ladder) and Overwatch would have rescued him.

You're right, I remember seeing an update from overwatch when he was arguing with Gail.

I think this was his most recent Sims stream. There was another one where some trolls tricked him into thinking that there was a sitcom called "Chris Chandler and Friends" so he made Christan, Barb, and Patti; then, he burned their house down. He had much more fun playing that one.

Don't forget the continuation to this one with the grilled cheese and the attempted suicide.

Did you notice something he said about twenty minutes from the end of the stream? "I might have to adopt another kid because Benito's such a fuckup."

Now we know why Gail and Richard adopted Jace's brother. :ween:

Jace sucks at Sims 3 because he views it more as action figures or a movie he thinks he can direct. It's very easy to do those things in a Sim game but you have to actually maintain your sims, make sure their bars are full and their moodlets are good. He doesn't give a fuck and yanks them away from actions they NEED to do or finish (like making a grilled cheese sandwich). Another thing that is fucking Jace over is the Dexter mod. It allows you to kill people but it also gets you arrested if you're caught and people will generally not like you if they see you killing someone. Jace will kill anyone at the drop of a hat and then freak out, taking everything personal.

Jace actually started out his sim using cheats. He had a mansion, he admitted to using console commands to make other Sims like him. He went into a game, giving himself everything, but not know anything about the fucking game. I'm not sure but I believe someone has suggested that he also used a mod to give himself EVERY trait, both good and bad. This is how he got the unlucky trait and possibly a bunch of other bad ones. It doesn't help that he chooses rude/mean conversation choices just because he's frustrated in real life. You can't really bully your way to success very easily in Sims games. I haven't played Sims 3 on PC but reputation seems like a very big thing. If Jace was playing Sims 1 or 2 he probably wouldn't be getting as much shit for his Sim being a dick.

Also he needs to fucking buy and use a shower. Jesus christ.

This is why Jace and Sims 3 are poetry in motion.

Call it a hunch, but I don't think Jace likes playing video games. He's not any good at them because he refuses to learn to play, and then rages because the game won't bend to his will.

This seems to be a recurring theme, actually. Why does Jace hate learning?

Jace has the attention span of a gnat. Nothing catches his attention for more than a moment. Smoking weed and video games are some of his most consistent activities.

I don't get why he wants the kids gone but every time the game says "hey the social worker is coming to take the kids if you don't do X" he goes and does X.

Also, count me in for the "hilarious" side of the vote for the ending. Not so much the vomiting wolf cum, but the way that he instantly unravelled when someone compared him to his dad. Like flipping a fucking switch,

Oh, someone said it again? I still have an hour left to watch.

I don't want to take credit or anything, I actually kind of feel like a total ween now, but I was the one who said "are you quoting your own dad again?" when he was talking about how he wish Benito died in the hold of the ship.
I didn't know it'd lead to, uh, puking and mental breakdowns

Nah, it was beautiful. I think he got a small moment of clarity before he shoved it back down into the part of his mind where he keeps Jesus Camp and realizing he'll never be a marine.

Not ween at all. Jace sort of needs stuff like that. Things that actually get to him. It's pretty much the only working therapy.

I'm no psychologist, but having your buttons pressed by assholes on the internet can't be a safe form of therapy. (Not saying that you're an asshole for doing it, @Frank_Jaeger. You never know what'll make Jace flips his shit.) I do agree that he needs to stop dodging his problems, because holy fuck that man is broken.

People have been saying stuff relating to Jaces Dad and him being abused as a child all chat.

For some reason, Jaegers (yours, if you are Jaeger!) just got to him.

Who knows!

Jaeger should kind of feel lucky about this. Out of all of the comments in he entire chat, HIS one comment was the one that triggered it. It's like hitting the jackpot on the Tardrage Lottery.
