Both Orokin Catalysts and Reactors are a huge fucking pain in the ass to get. Again, they're really necessary to make things useful for high level content. The main problem is you have to do sorties to get them, and its random. You might get a reward or two from Nightwave. They really need to be cheaper for nightwave.

Agreed. I've got something like 100 Cells but only 2 catalysts and reactors. And don't worry about the Prime thing, I'm in the same boat. Some of the frames are just worth the prime version to me. I'm waiting on Garuda P and Khora P at this point but it really depends on where DE is headed with this game rn.

Expect there to be a ton of cosmetic updates and further monetization like the mod booster. Fashion frame is more profitable than actually producing real content for the game. DE has been focusing on getting new players to play the game as there is already content for them to play. Trap new players in a cycle of spending til they get burnt out and then get a new wave of new players to become wales. Rinse and repeat. Higher ups at DE think very poorly and often insult the playerbase behind their backs. Not exactly breaking news, but seems to further the proof that DE despises their own playerbase. Hell, even Aidan, a former employee for DE and self proclaimed communist revolutionary, called the community cash cows.

@Secret Asshole The way Endo is handled was the absolute worst part of the game for me. Everything seemed to bottleneck at the goddamn Endo. And when a "good" Endo drop is ~500 you just want someone to Zenith you from across the map.

It looks like they did a major overhaul on the daily login rewards as well. I'm looking over the wiki and am I correct in believing that the milestone rewards (100 days, 200 days, et cetera) are gone?

I got Atlas Prime and I don't regret it. Don't much give a shit about the mod booster as most of the good mods are so low to get or are rewards so it won't be affected by any booster. I think the booster really is a trap and #notworth. I will be indexing the fuck with the boosters so I'll never need money again.

Getting Endo fucking sucks. The only half-way decent way is to unlock the Star Map and constantly doing Arbitration. But good fucking luck if you don't have Adaption. It really is the biggest bottleneck. The funniest part is that buying Endo with plat is fucking hysterical and not worth it at all. Its like 100 plat for 1000 Endo which is TERRIBLE. You may as well buy Aura Forma or a Forma pack. Potatoes and Forma is what I blew most of my plat on, along with slots. I did do the color palettes because why not. But I did not even bother with buying Endo.

Yeah, you can't do Endo drops on anything other than constant Arbitrations. Its not worth the time. You blow like 300 Endo on maxing a common mod. Its nothing. I've got about 20k Endo and that is pretty much nothing when it comes to primed mods or umbral mods or even good rare ones. Maxing a good rare one will take half my Endo. Maxing Primes and Umbra is like 100k+. I don't understand why they don't have something with Endo like they do with Index. And Endo drops are fucking laughable.

I don't think so? I got to pick Primed Fury, Primed Shred or Primed Vigor at 200.

That's good to hear. They definitely changed something though. I've had instances where I have not logged on in a few days and when I do log on I get no login bonus. Before the last update (or maybe the one before that?) I would always get the login bonus, even if I missed a day or two.

The bitch of it (for them) is that when I started noticing that I wasn't getting login bonuses after missing days, I more or less stopped bothering to check in daily altogether. And then that led me to stop playing.

I'd have to check my login days, but I think I'm close to a milestone so I'll let you know if it's something weird.

Cash isn't typically a problem as you can just run the Index which doesn't take all that much time. To get a decent amount of Endo, you need sculptures and stars or run a lot of Arbitration and it isn't guaranteed. There's no clear-cut way to farm Endo like cash. And paying for Endo is fucktarded as you get jack for the amount of plat you have to spend.

No idea. It'd have to be pretty fucking good. Doubling is just not enough, as Endo doesn't drop often. I guess if you get 100 Endo on higher level runs it might be worth it, but it still doesn't drop consistently enough. Arbitrations would still be the way to go, especially since they lowered the reward timer to 5 minutes instead of 10. I think the only way to fix Endo is to have something like the Index. Its too much of a bottleneck and that's where a lot of grind comes from.

Like you bet Endo and do something similar. You honestly can't really buy Endo either, its simply not worth the plat, even if you are rich as fuck. Its basically 100k to max out a primed or umbra mod set. And with 1k Endo equaling 50 plat, you'd have to burn 500 plat on Endo alone. I just don't think that's worth it, as slots for Rivens, Warframes, Forma bundles, potatoes are way more worth it than buying Endo you'll blow on a single high tier mod.

I know the mod booster has been discussed internally for years and Atlas Prime is basically a beta test to see how it goes. Haven't heard of an Endo booster. I just think it should fall under the resource booster anyway instead of yet another booster to dilute the pool. That way you're not just getting Endo.
 
Yeah, it does. They haven't really found a solution for it. As nobody is going to buy Endo to do it so its not worth it. I guess its just there to grind? But like I said, they really need something like the Index for Endo and have the resource.

But there was a new Dev Stream today, with some content updates:

Major Shit:

1) Melee 3.0 is going to drop late this month or early next month. Lots of changes towards channeling and increases overall damage.

2) There's a Lich System coming. Greneir enemies you kill can come back as Liches with abilities related to your Warframe. They control swathes of territory which you have to re-capture and hunt down your Lich. Killing your Lich rewards you with a randomly generated weapon they have with different stats that can go above rank 30. These randomly generated weapons don't count towards your Mastery Rank because they're RNG based and not something you build and there's a ton of them. There's a system being developed so you can 'trade' Liches with your clan if they don't have a weapon you want or need. Unknown if you can sell these weapons for plat, but I wouldn't be surprised.

3) Liches can not only be killed for their weapon, but converted to your side if needed. So it'll be like the mysterious stranger perk in Fallout where they'll appear and help you.

4) To kill and convert Liches, you get a robocop spike to implant in them. This Robocop spike will now be used for hacking as well.

5) Ember Rework completed, now she uses a fire bar and charges up her abilities. This fire bar provides 50 DR at the start and when it maxes out, it burns enemies for massive damage. Lost of changes. World on fire is no longer a drain, but like an Armageddon nuke burning everything.

6) Vauban complete rework. Lots of grenades with a ton of abilities. Gets an orbital strike at 3. His 4 is a two parter: A stasis field that strips armor and a vaccum field that draws enemies into one place so you can orbital strike them.

7) They're going hard into fashion frames. They're now selling cosmetic load-out slots. Usually you have 3, but for 20 plat you can buy an extra slot for another way to build your frame for a different look. They're also selling more mod configs for weapons for the same amount. You get three, but can increase that number with plat.

8) Weapons will now have an excelius slot like Warframes to add mods that are typically unused. They're only on primary and secondary weapons initially, until Melee 3.0 drops.

9) Grendel is going to drop with excelius weapons, Ember and Vauban re-work. No timeline on Greenier Liches, but they seem to be in the early phases as they want more variety of types and weapons.
