I like when Vinny streams with other people but almost every time the other person's mic is 200% quieter than Vinny's. It's not a problem if you're using headphones but I like to listen with speakers.

Joel's an anxious guy as it is; that much is abundantly clear from the stories he's told. I imagine that his anxiety coupled with being a pretty well-known streamer would drive anyone to hide as much of their identity as possible, face included. He's even still managed to keep his personal info under pretty close lock and key; I think the most that's known about his private life is the region of Sweden he lives in. I doubt he'd get fans knocking on his front door if he DID share more, not the least because the majority of his fans are Americans, but I still can't blame him for taking precautions anyway.

You know i knew that by default there where people excessively and embarrassingly thirsty for male streamers just like they are for female streamers, but i never had witnessed it in the wild, Vinesauce is a prime example for this

It's from one of the really old ones, back from the early days of Vinesauce. It's kinda funny how perception of someone's appearance can change when you don't see them often: it took years for people to draw Joel bald in fanart, and apparently he isn't anymore.
Generally, think it's good for creators to keep at least some kind of personal barrier from fans, or else you'd end up getting a bunch of (frankly disturbing) art and fanfic from thirsty fans who can't keep reasonable boundaries with celebrities.
Also, the only other clip of Joel that I know about is him quoting Buffalo Bill while putting on lipstick, which is kinda hilarious.

Does Vinny hate hearing the Japanese language? I know he hates anime but he plays every game with the English dub and he even watched Akira with an English dub. I have friends who are like that, they even like anime and shit but they hate the Japanese language and think it sounds stupid and make fun of it.

Its what he knows, its what he's comfortable with, never had to read subtitles for anything in his life, its not something he's used to, he's already stepping out of his comfort zone by actually watching anime, not everyone is a weeb or as cozy hearing japanese or a language they can't understand
