I was watching this Let's Play of the gen 2 Pokemon games, and it made me realize how good the Johto tracks were.

I've been playing a lot of Ghost Recon Wildlands lately, and I'm actually starting to like narcocorrido music as a result.

Even though the game ended up being a giant shitstorm of a release, one of the few good things Brink had was how awesome the overall ost was. Definitely still one of my favorites to listen to on occasion whenever it comes up. Especially considering there's a different one for not only each faction but even going into like different menu or different variables like what body type you get.

An example of what I mean is with the resistance customization screen having 3 different themes depending on what body type you chose.

Granted each one isn't hugely different or anything but they're varied enough to still sound awesome either way to me.

Anarchy Reigns probably has the best OST out the games I've played imo, and I'm not a fan of rap. Testin' Me is my favorite track, followed closely by Find You. Mad World had a pretty good soundtrack too, but Christ was that game unplayable, motion controls are completely stupid for a face paced beat em up. At least we got the track "Look Pimpin'" out of it

It's a real shame the game was doomed to fail because Platinum decided to take almost a whole year to translate the game before sending the game over to the west. It was definitely a fun game for it's time and I'd kill for a PC port. Fast Lane is personally my favorite theme song with Kill Em All being a close second. I still have the whole album in my playlists so whenever any of the tracks come up it definitely does a good job of hyping me up.

Everything about Manhunt's soundtrack is superb, it's edgy darkwave, electronic vibe going soundtrack is very reminiscent of John Carpenter's early movies like Assault on Precinct 13, & 80's slasher flicks, considering the game's setting it gives you that dreaded feel of being stalked, trapped inside a decaying abandoned building in the night and that feel of claustrophobia.

I finished Hotline Miami 2 recently and God DAMN does that game have some catchy tunes.

Yup, finally got the chance to play HM2 this year, and after finishing the game, I went through a couple weeks just listening to it's soundtrack 24/7. It's really great. It's a god damn shame the series ended there.

Also, it's mildly infuriating that Ubisoft refuses to make a standalone sequel to Blood Dragon, all we got instead was a shitty motorcycle game (not shitty it's really fun to play but disappointed it wasn't a FPS).

Brink was just a mess of a game, I had no idea on what they were trying to do with it, it looked like they were going to mash Killzone 2 (slow gameplay and dynamic objective modes), along with the parkour system of Mirror's Edge but the slow gameplay and cramped level design just killed it for me.

I was absolutely devastated by HM2's ending. It felt kinda lazy in a way, but I also get it, they wanted to be done with it. At least it was very dramatic and well orchestrated.

This is probably my favourite track from the OST:

When this thing first dropped during my playthrough of "Death Wish", I felt such a surge of adrenaline I just went through every Fan section on max speed, despite usually playing carefully, haha. Tony's stage especially I just ran like a psycho and punched motherfuckers to death left and right without any care about dying.

I used to frequent OC Remix for most of my music way back. It's a great place to find music that just works as background noise while you do other shit. And some of the artists there are pretty incredible remixing video game music.
