People are still surprised by things like this? All mainstream fandom and industry spaces are completely progressive ideological soapboxes and narrative enforcement mechanisms at this point. This is one of the ways they prop up the activist/progressive majority narratives. On a micro level of what social media, media, business and so much else was doing society wide. It isn't even all about scaring people from dissent, as it is about gaslighting the masses into believing these views are normal, sane, reasoned, healthy and even popular or common. "everybody else must think this way, i better fall in line" etc. It is an attempt at social manipulation brute force style.

These types of orgs seemingly beyond the scope of politics, are the most hard fought over to subvert. They feel it adds legitimacy to their narratives. They also tend to be easy targets for being full of industry hacks, scared to get drama and insiders (elites) already drinking the kool-aid. When not outright backed and or pressured by business and media.

You need the page source. Mediawiki uses a markdown language called Wikitext where you link to another page like [[this]] and such. If you're scraping TCRF you'll need the page source + each file the page uses.
Albeit there are tools that can turn HTML into wikicode and vice versa so it's not completely unworkable.
