I think that it's a matter of semantics. But with these idiots, you never know

Simple point is that they are similar but different. “Man on Fire” entails a person being set ablaze and presumably dying from it, “Wreathed in Flames” is the more supernatural version where somebody can surround themselves with fire without harm, and “incendiary exponent” is more of a meta-trope concerning the fact that things being on fire is considered cool. I believe some of them are sub-tropes of the others, and a few are kissing cousins. This tends to happen simply because some tropes are too common and too varied in execution to group into a single thing

Then you check the thread and it's been going so long with no discussion that people are starting to question why it's still highlighted.
