Yeah, assuming Valve's lawyers don't feel it worth the effort to skin him alive, Gabe Newell's little fanclub of rabid, unwashed neckbeards absolutely will. Lord knows they've nothing else to do.

If only gaben would put out Half-Life 3 -- or at least Half-Life 2, Episode 3 -- or anything else ending in 3, the fanbase would be too distracted to neckbeard it up.

Impressive digging Introman! I'm left wondering why that profile, of they ate a Spanish translator (which being in the STS group would suggest, as opposed to them lying about their exact position to retain anonymity) is in all those "Community Italia" groups. I sure hope they're not a Trans Italian-man-to-latin-american-woman like someone else we follow here a lot.

This all happened around February this year. It seems that the other big complaint is that Steam Translation Server volunteers were baited into working for free with the promise of a contract that never came. These translators went on strike.

Three women named Ambra had profiles on Translatorscafe, and they all spoke Italian as well as Spanish and english. If one is our tranny, though, it would have to be this one, Ambra Tabbi. Active in late 2015 and areas of specialty include "linguistics" and "women's studies". On the other hand, given address is in Italy and doesn't look like the not-or-barely passing tranny I would expect to work from home for "depression and other social disabilities".

There's some social media profiles under the name Ambra Tabbi but none if them seem super likely, or they require to log in (LinkedIn for example) and I can't be arsed.

One of the linkedin profiles probably isn't her- it appears to deal with fashion and design. This one looks more likely, but doesn't mention any association with valve and unfortunately I don't do spanish or italian very well..
