I have even had close family say its "not feminine" and that if I wanted to be a woman I can't have both.

This is a very funny line, because it's a reality that is only true for trannies, one of those moments where their own ideology screws them. See, women can train for powerlifting and still be recognized at even a cursory glance as a woman just fine, because their existence isn't a constant charade of trying to fit into a strictly stereotyped gender role. They don't have to pass as a woman, they just are.

There is no way to "present fem" while powerlifting, because "presenting fem" inherently by your own ideology precludes doing traditionally masculine things, because then you're not putting on the show of being a woman and nobody can tell you're supposed to be a transwoman even if they wanted to be polite about it. You can never "just be a woman and powerlift." It's not because you powerlift. It's because you're not a woman.
