LEO can be swamped with small particles so easily it has likely been so dozens, hundreds, or thousands, of times over the past 4 billion years from various fluke events. You'll notice, however, that the earth does not have rings like the outer planets.Ocean particles don't quite hit at the same speed. LEO can be swamped easily.
There are a bunch of really small forces involved. The sorts of things any engineer would casually round to 0 for normal everyday things. However, said forces do exist and do matter when dealing with really small things or large timescales.
Simply put, Kessler syndrome isn't stable this close to the sun. Not even close to stable. LEO would be clear and clean in about a decade and a half.
