Context for those speaking about JiDion’s arrest: “The Squatter” is Skeeter Jean’s uncle, an unemployed leech who was financially, verbally, and allegedly physically abusive toward Skeet’s 78-year-old grandmother. The grandmother is now under the care of his mother in an assisted living facility, and she has been trying to evict him from the house. The mother alleges that his uncle hasn’t worked in 27 years and is a known dine-and-dasher.
JiDion rented the home as a way to get Joe out of the house.
If you are curious how the house has lights on, The Mom has paid the bills while Joe tried to have questionable people to room and taking the money for McDonald's or cigarettes. He's also a Democrat with an active Facebook account calling trump a pedophile.

He's now a known nuisance in the community who is trying to knock on people's doors to call the cops whenever Skeet makes a visit in the house. A neighbor informed skeet that he's "renting" rooms for sketchy people and now a dog is living in the garage.

I agree, but I’ve gotta give some props to Alex Rosen and the Predator Poachers. That man gets the pedos to admit to things the police would never have gotten out of them. It’s actually dumbfounding, they have absolutely no reason to talk to this dude about their massive CSAM collection but they just lay it all out there. He was doing prank videos before turning to pred catching after getting backlash, which shows you where his priorities are. On his Patreon, he offers whales who pay him enough the opportunity to accompany him on catches. Zero ways this could go wrong. His videos were also largely aimed at children, so those are likely some of his biggest catcher viewers too.

I can't for the life of me understand how he (Rosen) manages it. To me he's offensive to the senses and his voice and mannerisms are akin to nails on a chalkboard. I can't stand watching his stuff because of it, no matter how entertaining it is (I had to force myself to deal with it just to enjoy the utter kino of that one diaper-shitting moron he caught, because god damn that shit was hysterical). Everything from his breathless mode of speech to the fucking nose whistle when he breathes just aggravates me to no end.

True, Hansen had institutional backing. The house was a set, the decoys were professionals (for 2004 acting standards at least), and everything downstream was handled by people who understood chain of custody. These guys have Patreon at most.

To my understanding at least some of these goofballs (Rosen, for one) tries to coordinate with police in some fashion or other, but it lacks even the modest formality of process that TCAP had. And as we all know, TCAP didn't have a great conviction rate either (most of the people caught on the show, at least those that made it to air, either ultimately had their charges dropped/dismissed or they caught slaps on the wrist and avoided sex offender registration) despite doing just about everything right.

TCAP's real contribution (a rare example of the press doing something genuinely beneficial to the society it ostensibly serves) was kicking the local, state and federal governments in the fucking asses and getting things changed to make it harder for predators to escape prosecution via technicality. Georgia tripled their allotment of Georgia Bureau of Investigation staff focused on sex crimes after an episode aired featuring Fortson, Georgia. The show helped push the Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006. ICAC task forces nationwide saw more funding.

While it did prompt copycats (like today's predator catcher types) that haven't done much good, the show did actually have a positive overall effect on how America handles sex offenders. There's a lot of progress left to make, but TCAP helped far more than it hindered. Granted, they likely did it for ratings and infamy more than out of any altruistic urge to make the world a better place, but today's clones are no better in that regard.
