The pandemic changed nothing

It didn’t start things changing, but I agree that
it was an accelerant.
I know a lot of older people and it changed their lives for the worse - a lot became very isolated.
Shops and supply chains have never recovered.
No one was preventing you from having a party at your friend's house during COVID retard.
But they were. Here anyway. Gatherings of more than a few even in private home were banned. People weren’t ‘allowed’ to go out for more than an hour or so a day in some places (oz.) women sat in the fresh air in a bench were ticketed. It was madness. And everyone just went along with it.

Back to the retail thing again. There used to be so many high street brand type stores and all these stores for "intimates" and accessories. I can barely even remember all their names. This was in like 2007. Then there were so many decor chains. Like I said before these types of places dropped off the map long before COVID arrived. The same with family owned restaurants. This was more related to the recession we had 17 years ago and the rise of online shopping giants lie Amazon. Even if COVID had never happened many of these places would have disappeared on their own. That family restaurant or bar that closed up during COVID wac Probably not going to last anyway.

It has made people where I live that much crazier. It's messed with my own mind. I was in a car accident like a month before they started freaking out and isolating everyone. I still haven't fully mentally recovered.

I've also noticed people are still treating each other worse than before.

Did you live in a state that didn't have a major lockdown?
Small businesses around me still haven't recovered. 2017-2019 saw a lot of growth, but all of it was wiped away post pandemic. The only new businesses are restaurants and coffee shops, most major slop brands on top of that.
Grocery store prices are about x3 at least from pre-2019 levels. No one within the ages of 18-35 is sticking around, compared to 2019 where it wasn't uncommon to see young people. There are far less community events since covid. I can go on but the difference is night and day since the lockdowns in my state were far stricter and longer than others.

No, the lockdowns genuinely made a massive chunk of zoomers into much bigger socially retarded freaks than they already were. Not even in the obvious ways you'd expect either. Interacting with them is genuinely like encountering some sort of alien lifeform.
I fucking hate them. We should just euthanize them all and start over with accelerated test tube babies grown in jars.
