The Official Simpsons Griefing Thread

And that was the last folly the people of Springfield ever embarked on.

Except for that Popsicle stick skyscraper.....

The 50-foot magnifying glass....

And that escalator to nowhere.......

It continued during the end credits roll too.... I had that ep on VHS and watched it all the time, to this day I think it's the funniest Simpsons episode there ever was, from start-to-finish.

"I knew we shouldn't have stopped for that haircut, sorry"

"Homer, I have someone here who can help"
"Batman?!"
"No, he's a scientist"
"Batman's a scientist?"
"IT'S NOT BATMAN!"

North Haverbrook... where have I heard that before?

Oh no,

OH NOOOO!!!!!

I was rewatching season four, and it's really eerie how much of it I remember, having not seen it in its entirety since I was a kid. It really shaped my sense of humor in ways I didn't even realize. Like a significant part of my brain is dedicated to Simpsons bits.

Same here. I haven't seen much of the good episodes in years, yet I still remember so much of them too. Meanwhile, I can't really remember any lines from the early Zombie Simpsons episodes I saw.

Only Zombie Simpsons episodes I can even recall remotely are a few of the Sideshow Bob ones. Last thing I remember was Bob having everyone trapped in a shed with plans to blow them up, then he tries to access wikipedia on his laptop for some pointless reason before his laptop blows up in his face. That's all I remember.

I remember that episode. Bob later faked his death and Bart was blamed for it. The whole family was in on the plan, including Bob's parents.

It's a sad state of affairs when you can actually manage to ruin Sideshow Bob, the easiest character to make funny given that he's an actual murderous clown with a refined Transatlantic accent. How you could fuck that up is just beyond me. Bob made everything funnier.

Considering what a scumbag Krusty turned out to be and how much these negative traits were Flanderized over the years, I am inclined to believe that Sideshow Bob did nothing wrong (before he became a serial killer that is).

He just wanted kids to have a good and well educated role model. His brief run on the Krusty show proved even more successful.

Krusty is a serious scumbag. Honestly I actually got the impression that kids only watch his show for Itchy & Scratchy anyways.
