Well, they've confirmed that they are working on two more DLCs for TLD, with von Lierop claiming that "Well, we love the game, and so do the players, so we would love to keep adding to it" (Aka "All the money we got from TLD and its DLC is long gone, and there's no fucking way in hell we have enough runway to get a remotely working version of Blackfrost in the meantime, so we're going to keep being the one-hit wonder we've always been and try to jew you out of some additional money in the process")

Shame. But they did this to themselves. Anyway, what more could you add to the base game? Personally, I'd like more customization options, i.e. the option to ban whatever items I want from spawning in the world, like how Interloper bans all the good stuff.

Even if you cut out the scientist woman's overt line about being a heckin' strong independent woman of color, you can just tell when such people are directing development of a game. It's hard to fully articulate, but there's a very particular vibe that permeates all the dialogue and character interactions.
All the escaped prisoners being white is another big one, considering the demographics of Canadian prisons.
