This started as a discussion a while back that I have saved for a future time, which is now as the year draws to a close. And what better time to discuss the last five years than in October, the spookiest month of all.

A lot happened in 5 years. Wars, plagues, economic crashes, the rise of AI, and the Costco hotdog staying the same price amongst all of it

The internet firmly took its place in life. There still were holdouts, believe it or not. You still did things pre covid. Covid stuck everyone indoors and, on their phones, and the PC. The Internet became much more massive than ever before. Did a lot of damage to kids. You could possibly attribute the rise of these grooming cults we now see today to the isolation from 2020.

Covid broke everything normal and we still haven't recovered. Even the trivial things. Take theaters.

I used to go out to the movies all the time. Cheap entertainment as a kid. Big screen, it's loud, and prices weren't bad. Now? Everything goes to streaming way too fast. I have to make an effort now to catch movies in theaters now. It is a part of culture that has been lost, one of many.

Now, why do people not talk about the last 5 years? Is it mass psychosis? Did people just forget the hell we all went through? I think a lot of people remember what happened and just don't want to talk about it. It was a very traumatic event. You had celebrities and all these idols saying you should lose your job and be thrown in jail and lose your freedom if you didn't wear a mask.

There was also the WEF shit popping up at the time. I still remember when Jontron shit on it, and it was like, holy shit, this is real. There are crazy people in the world that want you to literally live in the pod and eat the bugs like it’s Cyberpunk 2077.

You've also had 2 major wars in the last 5 years.

All that pent up online rage from COVID has been used yelling about Ukraine and Israel- on both sides. Look at the talking points. It's just Covid continued, with the same terminally online people yelling at each other. It has been the most dehumanizing thing to witness as someone who considers themselves somewhat neutral on the issues. You have entire groups of online factions going from the COVID cult, to the war cults. It is maddening.

This also combos with the words misinformation and disinformation entering the zeitgeist. You can't just call someone a liar, you accuse them of wrongthink anytime something happens against the narrative. It is so much more insidious. You are discrediting that person, tarnishing anything they say going forward. It has literally ruined entire careers over nothing. Only now are we pushing past it. But even then the genie is out of the bottle, and those words are never going back in.

In conclusion. The last five years have been fucking insane. Covid mindraped society. We have not recovered even to this day. Fuck the chinks.

COVID ruined an entire generation of children too. Look at Roblox and discord.
The strange thing is both of those existed before covid, but the damage only started to show after covid. A lot of people got really sucked into their computers and online friends. This had terrible results for society. Its like forcibly injecting someone with crack for a year and taking it a way after. They aren't going to stop. They're going to find more crack. In this case, more depraved shit online.

The only good thing the coof lockdowns did was it forced schools to go online, and that meant parents began hearing the real crazy shit that was being taught to children. The schools got really mad about that.

Without fedposting (hard mode).

The covid thing neutered anyone who was <30 (at the time) social life and financial aspects to a point one could consider the governments behind this ones enemy for life since the damage can't be repaid. Forcing young people to stare at a screen and removing the very last IRL interactions some people had? Yeah, it wouldn't be too crazy to imagine that some people thinks that the people behind this should be minecrafted for this, precious time rug pulled just for a meme flu and experimental shots.

People were forced to be chronically online through school or some jobs. Again, governments were complicit in this and knew about the consequences, yet they went through with all of this.

That was a good thing. And to be fair online schooling gave us a few memes too. But it was at a terrible cost.

I know. I was there. I remember all of it.

I don't think anyone could grasp the consequences frankly. I remember discussing what would happen in the future to the kids growing up with my friends at the time. We all knew they would be fucked up. Not to this extent. As for the government? They didn't even consider it.

It killed what was left of where I lived. Not that there was much to kill since everything was in the process of closing, or going to close. But it sure sped up the decline like the 2008 crash did. Now our main store is a Walmart, or you rely on online delivery. Online education was a pain, and I did not learn well through it. I tried, but when some of my professors were giving really easy multiple choice questions, it left me a bit behind for my upper level courses and I had to reteach myself things. Also motivated my great uncle to finally retire from his professor career.

But basically, what's left of where I live looks even more like a shithole after lockdowns. Most people left for other states, and the joke that every zoomer my age makes became more true. Many always said the best thing about where I live was always leaving. It's a sad state :( Our schools haven't recovered either. We didn't have much of anti or pro woke drama, but the school district did some very unpopular policies that involved stripping the gifted programs, opening honors and advanced placement programs to all, inclusion and stopped punishing disruptive students. Now many parents pull their kids out and desperately try to send their kids to a private school, which the two closest ones have insane waiting lists now. No parent wants their kid physically attacked by another student who can't be punished. It became such an issue that some kindergarteners were scared of attending school because of these violent students.

The reason that people don't talk about the past 5 years all too much is because its unhealthy to long for the past and think of what could have been. Wasting time thinking about that gets in the way of progressing and moving on. Even though the COVID stuff was insane, its best to not think about it for a while because self-pity is for annoying faggots and it will only get in the way of improvement.

I know it's incelly to complain about your dating life, but this applies to me even as an oldfag. Before covid (I was 29) I had a place I could meet decent women in person without going through cuck apps. I'm not Chad so I have to meet women in person to get a date. Covid took that away and pushed me into my 30s with no mixed-gender communities. I guess I should have asked someone to marry me the year before.

I will now die alone. Sad!

It's not bad to talk about something we all went through. There is such a thing as too much, and yes, it can become a circle jerk. I am asking people to look back and realize how insane the last 5 years have been. Plagues, wars, shortages, even just the cost of living. It is fucking asinine not to acknowledge that the last half decade hasn't been crazy.

The great thing about covid is that it brought a lot of stuff to a head and revealed a lot. Sucks to lose years of your life though.

Those are peak dating years for a man though you got robbed.

the people who dont want to talk about the coof times are the same ones who screamed at everyone not wearing a mask, and the same ones who wanted to force vaxx people against their will
this has 100% accuracy
Wasting time thinking about that gets in the way of progressing and moving on.
for progressing and moving on the establishment needs to be held accountable for their deeds on a personal level
the above point proves that the vaxxies didnt learn ANYTHING as well

That word (incel) is to gaslighting the issues caused by all the subversive policies post WW2 (feminism, immigration, covid and banking in general) by strawmanning you with the bottom of the barrel men. It's a systematic social shame that goes something like "If you are a loser, it's your fault and not the system" kind if an insult (women mostly use social shame to make you shut up and it's weaponized to the max). Why do you think shows like "Adolescence" was made (by a descendant of Freud and Bernays, (((Marc Randolph))))? To ingrain the idea that if you don't agree with the system at the age of 10, you are an "incel". It really lost its meaning from being a "janny tier obese man with no chin and bitches" to become "man who dislikes the current kike fever dream".

Feel free to absolutely shit on covid and whores.

Same experience, elderly realizing it's time to cash out and young people realizing many places are dead ends. The only difference is the public vs. private schools situation since in the EU the problem is the opposite. Private ones are nigger infested and public ones are less infested.
