Its pretty sad and funny that the elites are trading their fineries with rags with what they're doing. Everything that is keeping them on the top is unironically a functioning country. Once that goes, they'll become outcasts themselves living in fear amongst the hordes they imported or seen as a complete outsider in any other nation they decide to run to. Surrounded by foreigners who inherently distrust them and out to take advantage of them to boot.
A shame isn't it? Interesting fashions utterly ruined by a foul culture. Silver lining, some of those fashions were incorporated into Buddhism and wound up in the true and honest sections of Asia, outside of that foul subcontinent.
They are. And it always blows my mind that even in *really* dirt-poor slum neighborhoods where the men are in utter rags, the women are wearing beautifully colored saris. The cool thing is that they truly are "one size fits all"...when you're short or tall, a slim young maiden or a heavily pregnant wife, or a stout matron, it's the same size piece of fabric, just pleated at the waist more or less depending on need.
(I also like the salwar kameez that the Pakistani women wear...loose trousers with a long tunic.)

I love silk, and I love Salwar Kameez as well. They are gorgeous. I also like the gold culture and jewelry focus.
I could sperg about the beautiful clothing all day, but that's like the only good thing about India. It's a shame to get an in person discount you'd have to visit.
I get why he's doing that - have all these people go off to various countries to learn skills and trades and have the ones who survive and thrive come home to improve India - but why is everyone letting him do that? His strategy is to basically zerg rush every country and hope that a handful of the brainless idiots learn something useful and bring it home. Like how China convinced every company to build their factories in China and then China copied everything to jump start their economy and starve out everyone else's industry. I doubt it'll work because of the prevalent scam culture in India, so it just means everyone suffers.
Ok I will try and keeps this as simply as I can. The modern economy is built off of the retarded idea that as long as your population keeps growing the economy keeps growing. It is retarded because populations of any species naturally plateaus in ideal conditions. Now you have all these "multi billion dollar" companies that are vastly over valued using a model that is no longer relevant. The problems we are facing now arise from the fact that all the elites like Musk, Zuck etc having been taking out millions if not billions in loans from banks using their shareholdings as collateral. In other words they are funding their lifestyles with your money. Thing is because all those companies are overvalued, realistically the collateral is nowhere near what has been loaned out and there is no way the banks will ever recover all money. The elites know this and the banks know this, so now the plan is to import as much cheap labor as humanly possible (which Modi is more than happy to provide) to keep up the illusion of population growth long enough for the elites to sell off these companies to the jeets, chinks and sand niggers at over inflated values. They are then going to fuck off to their bunkers while the rest of us get send back to 1932 because we will be the ones paying for all of it.
The scary thing is that these people actually believe that.

Hate to break it to both the Poop Locust Pedophile and the Poop Paki Pedophile, but to those of us who are actually of European descent, they both look alike. Really no difference in appearance, and the cultural differences are negligible. They're both ugly brown monkey people from backwards, barbarian, uncivilized cultures.

India is a very protectionist economy, with very high tariff walls. It’s a major reason the country is so fucking broken.
Behind those walls lies a middle class. It’s not a large percentage of the country, at maybe 30% tops, but probably much lower because India bullshits about this and indeed many other economic indicators. Whatever the truth, it’s at least 100 million. That’s still a fuckton of people.
Exporters like my own country Australia think India will be like China and Japan - open the trade doors and start flogging high quality, safe food and alcohol (needless to say, much much better than what’s available locally), uranium for its reactors, and whatever else we can sell. We also have forged defence links with India, so selling materiel no doubt plays a part. Modi has leverage and he uses it to send his surplus labour to Australia and other countries India makes FTAs with, which makes his employment figures look better and gets rid of a source of unrest. The export of Hindutva is a nice side-effect. Australia imports labour anyway (it got too expensive to have lots of kids) and currently thinks the price for access to Indian markets is worth paying. In effect, we’ve traded away some of our control over immigration, and are still to realise this wasn’t a great deal.
