I've been on a Duke and Ion Fury kick lately. Such a breath of fresh air to play FPS that are just fun instead of blando military indoctrinations.

Managed to get through the first four episodes of Duke 3D on Damn I'm Good, gonna start the new fifth episode this weekend.

Also started Duke Nukem Forever off PS Now. Sure taking forever to get a gun.

edit: Sorry, I mean Ion Fury because Iron Maiden needed another plane I guess.

I'm playing Ion Fury at the moment and it's superb, a throwback done properly but people who clearly love the genre (like having the picture they took Doom's episode 1 background from on the wall). If they make another Duke game, make it in the 90's style and maybe even a crossover with Shelly.

As for DNF, it's one of those games where I could write an essay about its faults (2 gun limit and regenerating health in a supposed run n'gun shooter FFS) but I still played through it twice, and there were those fleeting moments where you could see a good game buried beneath the shit.

Hate to be that guy, but this sounds like GTA with the open world and interacting with NPCs. Even if it wasn't "cutting edge" like Broussad wanted, that sounds like a damn good game.
