I'm a big fan of burrowing owls. Pretty much ruined my day the 2 or 3 times I caught one with a header reel.

Burrowing Owls are the cutest things I've ever seen perch on the corpse of one of their victims.

I can get as good as spotting "vulture", "owl", and "not a vulture or an owl" for birds of prey in my neck of the woods.
