iirc there was somebody in Florida who got the fucking shit killed out of them by a cassowary a couple of years back

I dunno about this Pingu side story, they never had this sort of tech in the series. It's just implausible.

Birb illnesses is the main reason why I try and convince people that they don't really want a birb. Veterinarians that specialize are expensive and sick birbs die fast because they are small and they instinctively hide illness. By they time you notice, it's often too late.
