These people have to spend the rest of their lives knowing they got triggered by sonic the hedgehog arguing with a cactus.

The Cartoon Network show "The Amazing World of Gumball" has had a lot of clips or screencaps that go viral every other week, referencing internet memes or some event. Recently, this clip (episode, wiki) where Gumball makes jokes about social justice and privilege has had some attention.

It irritates me how they get upset when a cartoon makes a anime/video game references or mocking political views.

But it's okay when Steven Universe does it! You know, like the one with Garnet fights which has the scene (a reference to Jojo stardust crusaders) that mirrors Star Platinum's ability to throw
thousands of punches in seconds.

They don't even mind if Steven Universe show can endorse gender politics.

What episode was this?

Also, if they feel this strongly about "The Best" (the episode from which the SJW sequence is from), then they're really going to hate "The Worst," which centers on each of the family members trying to find out who has it tougher: men, women, adults, or children, and coming to the shocking conclusion that all four of them have problems (and then ending the episode as Nicole [the mom] tries to explain that women have it tougher).
It was the episode where Gumball thought Penny and Leslie were dating and ended up being possessed with jealousy. It was actually pretty funny.

Tumblr likes to cherrypick funny Gumball moments and laugh at them (a big one is from the episode "The Copycats") and not realize that it's taking jabs at them a lot of the time. It's not like the jokes are very subtle and fly over their heads; I just think they're that stupid. So when something like this happens and it's in your face in a figurative and literal sense, it's suddenly wrong. Like people said earlier, they don't know how to take a joke and laugh at themselves so it comes off as hypocritical they can laugh at this other shit but not this one particular joke.

It's like that saying: "Throw a stick in a pack of dogs. The one who yelps the loudest is the one who got hit."

Tumblr only cares about a show whenever said show appeals to them. The exact moment the show starts going against their agenda, they start acting as though they never liked it in the first place.

Seriously who the fucks cares it's a children's cartoon, And then i remember that SJW's are involved and they are more salty then the Dead Sea about everything.
