The addition of deciding his fall into becoming an asshole was admitting possible murder to someone he was in a romantic relationship with and then going "don't tell anybody or we're done forever" only for him to fucking DROP HER AND BRING IT UP ANYWAYS TO CLAIM IT WAS A FAKE BACKSTORY FROM A HALLMARK MOVIE means he was 100% the guy doing everything bad all the time. It's also clearly such a last minute reason for him being that way given the way he reacts to the people he used to know being brought up in a dismissive way by ragatha and a lot of other small bits that really really don't make sense for it to be " yeah he jsut decided to admit to murder and then say it was fake while also cutting off everyone he knew till they died".
It also makes 0 sense given there were literally other people to talk to aside fromjax at the time so one guy being a dick shouldn't have done that given how much of a dick he is to everyone in the series without any risk of them going and turning into eyeball dogs.

The joke would land harder if it was directly about the jax being trans claims because the movie is just "the characters mope around after learning nothing real nothing matter at the last second and jax dies then almost comes back then perma dies and becomes pomni's retarded dog" if you remove what's been said outside of the movie from the picture.
Like the plot of the entire thing literally can just be summed up in that one sneakers o'toole choir shitpost about jax dying and caine coming back because that's literally all that fucking happens when you boil the episode down.

That's literally why the brainscan shit got added last minute I'm telling you it's just gonna be infinite digital circus shit now forever even if there's a period of no digital circus shit. They can't resist milking it and they'll probably troon out more characters given the track record of these indie things funded by large money.

The more I think on things the more I am annoyed by this show. So as I mentioned before that Caine's redemption arc was triggered entirely by a misunderstanding thinking the humans deleted him when it was most likely bubbles/able/blueAI. Was his evil arc also triggered by a misunderstanding or some genuine piss poor writing? Caine was upset that the humans prefer the suggestion box adventures over his adventures. But the humans hated those too, either they all were miserable like the fast food one or only one was happy about it and they vote to skip it. The only adventures they did like were the ones where they sit around and do nothing like the noir bar and star gazing. In fact some of the characters were having a lot of fun in episode 2 with Jax causing chaos, Kinger doing kinger things, and Pomni making friends with the NPC, (Gangle and Ragatha not having fun was mainly due to Jax) and Episode 3 Pomni and Kinger had fun bonding while Ragatha and Gangle enjoy a tea party. So where the fuck did this conflict come from?!
As far as gender specials go I didn't mind Zooble. I was at least curious on where they were going to take the body dismorphia allegory with her extreamly customizable, plug and play body. But like any spark of a neat idea, Goose drops it and doesn't do anything with it. It is actually pretty funny because her motivation about hating her body wasn't resolved at all so it just comes off she learned to accept her body as is and got over her dysphoria which is a message troons DO NOT want to hear.
During the fast food episode Gangle should have power tripped harder and abused Jax more. Especially when it was revealed he started tormenting her DAY ONE.

I just don't think the climax of the entire series should be learning about the backstory of one guy, that's like using act 2 content in the third act?
If we're going to kill off Jax for the finale, why couldn't it have been Jax vs everyone else?, you know, the central emotional conflict the Circus has been leading up to?, as he finally loses it and crashes out on everyone, spitefully refusing to accept Pomni's help and dies, not only is it appropriately climactic, but it still gives the same exact intended message.
The only thing you have to change is removing the fantasy scenes and the backstory should be moved earlier to make this work.

Zooble was the moment I realized this show probably wasn't going to be good. Like, the pilot was fine, had some mystery going on, the character designs and settings were interesting, and basing Caine on AM was enough to keep me watching. Even the faux-anime voice acting and Jax being an over the top cunt I thought was just growing pains for an inexperienced production. But when Zooble had that speech during their literal therapy session I went "fuuuuuuck" because I knew at that moment what this show was deep down.

That moment will top any of the actual therapy session moments because he's just doing anything to get zooble to be less of a depressed bitch outside of removing the detachable limb gimmick that zooble hates.
I think like literally anyone but zooble would have loved the ability to just have whatever kind of length of arms or legs in some wacky digital world
