HGTV used to be good as reference for what you can do to improve your house, in a straight sense where a man's house is his castle which he wants nice to look at. I think they gave in to SJWs when they canceled an upcoming show hosted by two anti-gay brothers a couple years ago.

Presently, it and comparable shows on other channels are about gays and hipsters who get bigger hard-ons from boring minimalist houses that look like the fucking Apple Store, than they seem to do from their partners. With the core demographic traditionally being women, I can see how HGTV, etc. may influence in spreading gay cheer and unorthodoxy where the Martha Stewarts and Paula Deens (it's cooking, but the same concept) of the world used to.
