NPR is claiming to have four different sources verifying the authenticity of the war criminal post. Apparently she posted it in a private chat and one of them leaked it to the New York Post reporter and later several others leaked it to NPR. Even her supposed inner circle fucking hates her. It will be interesting to see what happens since WaPo infamously suspended Weigel for retweeting a joke. She finally might have fucked up hard enough that she will actually face consequences. It will be poetic if her botched attempt at virtue signaling to other retards on social media is finally what does her in.

There was a short-lived bit of around the rpg community recently where someone posted a fairly detailed and lengthy piece talking about one of their cancelled people and the people around said cancellation. One of the things noted was that the social groups that do this and as such end up on the farms tend to backstab a lot because there is a finite amount of money, power, authority etc. those groups possess and every last one of them wants it.

Ideological purity means that getting a "traitor" is much more personally beneficial than getting an enemy.

Exactly. Getting rid of Lorenz means that a position will open up at the Washington Post and someone else will be the "young" (LOL), "hip" (RFLMAO) reporter about things kidz say on the internetz. Until they themselves are cancelled, of course.

Everyone wants to be at the top of the heap and ideological purity spiraling is just a way to get there, but man, what a depressing life to lead.
