I have 4 tattoos (including 1 gag tattoo). I got them in my early and mid 20s, and they're in places that aren't clearly visible.

I don't have anything against tattoos really, at least on the surface. I I don't have any but that's mainly because I've never thought of anything I want on my body permanently.

I do think if you're gonna get a tattoo, don't cheap out on something that's going to be on you forever which is the pitfall that most people fall into. Most tattoos I see are either shit or are well done but of something stupid. So basically, I don't get why people treat their bodies like the margin of a high school notebook.

Never have been one for permanent tattoos. Recommend getting temporary tattoos if you get them at all. Keep in mind that tattoos can he used to help people remember who you are and where you were at any given time. Believe tattoos on ladies take away from their natural beauty. Tats can be difficult to remove if you change your mind. Hard pass on tattoos, period.

The whole problem with tattoos is very simple: they age like absolute shit.
What looks neat on a 20-30 year old will look absolutely retarded on a 60 year old.
Then there's the simple issue of not having taste or artistic sense to make everything fit together into a cohesive whole.
For example, flowers, abstract shapes and stylized writing (in Latin) suit girls well and those tend to flow together. Stuff like skulls and generally similar "hardcore" content looks very off on a girl. There's all in all around 5% of all tattooed women where everything was matched nicely, and those girls can be absolute stunners while in youth (again, the age issue is absolute). Everything else just looks trashy, oftentimes in the worst possible way.
Again, moderation is key when it comes to tattoos and even body mods, otherwise a girl just ends up being a trashy cum-dumpster like Amber Luke (look her up). I'd say acceptable stuff would be: tattoos on the body (but not on the head or genitals), piercings on the ears, navel and tongue. As for body mods, elf ears can be nice if well matched in an overall look and a tongue bifurcation is kinda okay. Everything else is just excessive.
