I think the person who post this missed the point that I was stating. I reply with a post about who cool tanks from the Cold War would be in Troon Crusade when I initially replied with "Yes, but the tanks should be from world war 1 since the game is set in 1914. In an alternative version of World War 1.

Trench Crusade lore-wise does have more advanced technology than we had in 1914. We have references to a Church space program, jet fighters, assault rifles, heretic submarine fleets, etc. Not to mention that the Anchorite walkers are at least a century or two old. I could see something approximating an early WW2 tank to be appropriate as an experimental end boss for a campaign, but a KPz 70 or an Object 279 is smoking the Devil's literal lettuce.

Trench Crusade lore is retarded and more rule of cool than even Warhammer which redditors don't get and still slap fight and overanalyze. Its effectively only WW1 in name and because muh trenches.
None of this matters anyways because nobody is going to get enough autism to figure out how to make them work in game and much less chances of getting actual people to play with those rules if they actually make them
I’ve had fun with the game. It translates the multiplayer experience quite well. Bouncing around the map, picking up new weapons, meleeing players when you get in close. The guns feel like they match their video game equivalents.
I haven’t played with the Covenant or ODST but their rules seem to be appropriate to match with Spartans (Elites get more regenerative shields while Brutes get more health).
I’d just make sure you have a buddy/community to play with. A lot of components and rules which might make pick up games a bit harder to manage.

If I was going to do something like this, I'd make it subtle. Iridescent dice that shift between the identity colors depending on angle, or one color dice and one color text.
