Well, I'll still read it anyway. Whether I'll publish a review or not depends on whether it's still a relevant subject or not by the time I'm done reading it.

If you must do this... It should be apart of a broader topic, like bad fanfiction in general. And I know we already have a thread like that, too. It would go better there, honestly.

Don’t be so sure. While they might write like a 16 year old, according to their main blog they’re supposedly in college.

Sadly a very common occurrence on Tumblr.

Here's a thought, why not actually take that idea and make a separate all male species of space rocks, maybe name them after metals or something, and have them occasionally feature into the plot. Maybe if they added more variety into the superhero rock bullshit and focused a bit more on having genuinely interesting adventures instead of "lol these aliens don't understand people, Steven is so quirky" stories the show might actually be more popular with actual children instead of 25 year old shut in "children".

I know I'm preaching to the choir, but this is a great idea. Popular action shows like Samurai Jack, Avatar the Last Airbender, and even comedic shows like the Powerpuff Girls all had funny moments and slice of life stuff, but they didn't make up the majority of the series. Another race of gems could really breathe life back into the show too

I really hope this wasn't just made because someone decided to bash this show out (SU) of disappointment of how much better it could have been. I like to think I've been making legit criticism, no matter how unpopular my opinions are. I say that, as it's stuff like this that makes having a different opinion, which is as much a spice of life as having variety in your diet, a real fucking problem I can't stand after too long.

Honestly, if I can't have an honest opinion on anything anymore, especially some thing that pisses me off / disappoints me like SU - cartoon sperg that I am (admittedly, and I'm proud of it, too, as I fucking love cartoons / some anime - the messed up medium(s) as a whole that it is to you fucks!), that's like being told to burn myself... Sorry, can't stop doing that. It's just far too liberating - and fun / good for the soul, too, if you ask me.

To be fair, Lily Orchard is fucking ponyfag / crisscrossing tard, so it's no surprise to me someone decided to do this to "her" at all. Someone like "her" and most of the Tumblr-fucks in SU Critical need to be invalidated, simply for acting the fool too much - I can't argue with that too much, actually.

EDIT - after watching the vid, I'm glad my first paragraph is NOT the case. I've even subbed to her, mostly because her other content isn't too bad, either.

Tumblr’s su critical community would implode if it knew how many fag bombs Rebecca Sugar dropped into the dialogue of Pug Davis. It’s a lot easier to m.ilk that for oppression points than reaching for evidence of racism.

I watched the Lily Peet video because I hate myself and use longform videos as sleep aids. She spends about 30 minutes of the two hours sperging about Knights of the Old Republic and "why isn't stevie universe just like this", and then calls Rebecca Sugar a fascist in denial because she fucked up writing her villains as redeemable. Also there was 200 mentions of "why does this nonbinary character look like a woman? this is oppressive and rapey"

For anyone who wants to be a fan of this show or wants to understand why fanbases in general (especially this one) are cancer, this is required watching - hopefully you'll change your mind / understand perfectly why we're all starting to make fun of you (as much as it pains some of us to do so.).

Once again, so much for valid criticism and/or not enjoying something everyone else bandwagons the BS out of... Expect nothing less from Tumblr, even though it's still slowly dying.

There was a gem comb because to the evil dictators (keyword: dictators) see them literally as expendable and borderline worthless except asinine tasks. You wouldn't set a piece of gravel you found on the road in 14k gold and use it as an engagement ring.
