I really love the idea that these tumble tards think that a public website is a "safe space" for them to chimp out and cry type on.

Especially when Kayla keeps crying about safe spaces when we've proved it really isn't one.

I think what happens is there's so much noise and so many users on Tumblr that it FEELS like a safe space at first because you benefit from what is basically anonymity. There are so many fictive kins and other kins and systems that you're just one more voice in the noise.

Then you do something to draw attention to yourself and you stand out and the bubble is gone and it feels like someone is violating your safe space and you don't know how to cope with or ignore the realization that it was never a safe space to begin with.
