Women age very gradually starting at an earlier age, so we get on top of that shit and maintain. Men get hit with their age like a fucking semi truck at some point with the timing depending on lifestyle and genetics, said timing varying incredibly widely. It doesn't help that a lot of them operate on the logic of "it hasn't happened yet, so it never will". They also tell each other and themselves that it's somehow gay to wash their faces with more than their bare hands and some water, and that it's super extra mega gay to try to relax in any way that actually lowers their stress hormones like cortisol, so they unwind by doing shit that further damages themselves like guzzling beer and goyslop in front of the TV. Aromatherapy? Candles? Baths!? Those are for women and fags, and fuck you if you notice how much less likely men's health is to be affected by stress-related issues if they have wives and GFs who do these things.
But the aging like milk analogy works better here than most anywhere else. It's fresh, it's good, it's fine for longer than you'd think, until one morning all of a sudden it smells bad and turns into a fucking fusion reactor over a tiny fraction of the amount of time it spent being fresh.
