Watched a couple more as I was cooking last night, Isopod had lots of FASCISM talk and PaperMario was when it finally became troonecentral for a while bcause of Vivian and their weird thing about Wario being nonbinary rep.
It's weird going from an autist game with no troon donos to hypergiga troon, but maybe that's a positive about fatigue reaching critical heights. Even some runs with troons at the helm haven't been nearly as troonfocused.
GDQ staffer carrarium is having a melty over on bluesky because people on reddit are not enjoying SGDQ2026 and viewership is down....
and because those evil chuds on reddit are complaining that top speedrunners don't attend anymore. What's wrong with 11th place on the leaderboard speedrunning a meme category for a game you've never heard of?!? MOVE. ON.
Not a good look for GDQ when their social media manager is screeching on bluesky about how the audience is wrong about what they do or don't enjoy. That is not going to help declining viewer numbers.
Speaking of viewership, I saw this infograph online, claims over 60 percent loss since 2020. They'll claim covid but you'd think viewership would go back up after lockdown years, but we know why. GDQstats seems to agree even with only 2025's info. Carrarium made a post last year about how they're mainly focusing on Bluesky. No wonder viewership is down lol

Its funny to me the amount of money GDQ seems to take from donations over giving to the represented charity, where your actual donations go to a troon job program.

Not just Crash 4, it seems like they're modding a lot of games to show that (which probably renders them as invalid for speedrun.com leaderboards, if they were lucky enough to get a PB/WR)

GDQ's fake/astroturfed donations are becoming harder to hide with the number of real people dropping year after year. I thought there was a rule that you couldn't modify the actual games or use anything other than physical (for console stuff at least), but yeah, guess that's gone in service of gobbling down the girlcock. As if there isn't enough of that shit already. You know what just burn the whole thing down and start over.
I have never followed GDQ that closely, and I know it has been trannyinfested for a long time now, but the number of genderspecials must still have exploded in the later years...?

A not minor portion of staff are troons now and they keep giving priority tranny commentators and to weird short niche speedruns which troons submit. Like in my post above someone tried to defend it by saying there's been three world records this year, but it's all troonslop no one plays, not like a big Zelda game or anything with packed leaderboards.
Refusing to put any high competition or longer games also drives away anyone who hasn't been blacklisted for being a chud, and the runners who look like normal autists have a 50/50 shot at being a furry now, so you have to avoid anything with animal mascots lest there's howling going on. With Games Done Queer (real event btw) coming back, it's only a matter of time before even those holdouts are driven out.
It actually drives me nuts that there are actual problems with the event and they won't do anything about it except to go "erm I guess you hate trannies then chud??"

Even then, they'll mod the console game if it's possible, like with Wii Sports. The fact they even ran that is really questionable, might as well openly admit "Yeah, it's a pirated game" on stream.
It really does feel like it's slid right into total irrelevance. 20K people are apparently watching and no is talking about it. Twitch isn't even featuring it on the front page when it used to take over the site before. It was similar last time but somehow this is even less.
