True fanfic-tier cringe. The weird mix of traditional and flash animation is gratingly noticeable too to the point where the animated scenes look like something for a made-for-tv movie. And it looks like the leaks were mostly true andDon Cheadle really doesn't make for a compelling villain at all... And the Goon Squad of mutated basketball players look even worse than the MonStars.

There's some disturbing uncanny valley shit going on. Overall this looks like Ready Player One garbage all over again but somehow even more irksome.

The only thing I find more odd is the fact that they let Yosemite Sam keep his guns for some reason and that Lola actually seems to have tits in this one. Just wtf is going on?

Also from the last few seconds, it looks like Game of Thrones assholes are in the crowd alongside ThunderCats, Blue Falcon, Dynomutt, a Flying Monkey, and... the fucking psycho droogs from Clockwork Orange?!

This might actually be the dumbest movie made yet holy shit. If that's what it's aiming to be then fucking kudos.
 
so the lola drama was just a massive nothingburger, in the actual trailer she looks almost exactly how she does in the looney tunes show
 
Rewatched the original Space Jam, it was a fun novelty at the time. Not a bad film, just dated. When I think of Looney Tunes, sports don't come to mind.

They picked the wrong movie to relaunch. Looney Tunes: Back in Action would've been a better concept to revisit, especially with COVID.

Maybe with Kobe, God rest his soul, this would be a curiosity. LeBron James is overrated and full of itself. Rather, the NBA is full of itself in this timeline.
 
I laughed when Yosemite Sam shot the ball. Surprised that even made the movie, much less the trailer given the rampant gun hate in Pedowood. But considering how shitty the rest of the trailer is, maybe they couldn't afford to leave out the one single gag that actually lands.
