The Chinese are welcome to try and colonize Africa. They will discover the same things about the people the Europeans did. I dont think any European colony in Africa turned a profit for what it cost to set them up and run them.

It wasn't about 'profit' it was about palm oil which grows plentiful in Africa and has a variety of uses some of which were highly important to the growing industrial societies of Europe.

Access to resources and prestige were bigger reasons for Europe's colonization of Africa more so than monetary profit

South Africa’s been in the news recently, perhaps as much these past two weeks as in 1994. That was the year they exorcised racial demons and embraced democracy. The end of Apartheid, the beginning of Multiracial Utopia.

A glorious moment, right?

Sorry, no.

I didn’t think so then, and I don’t think so now. I didn’t know much in 1994, but I had instincts, and every instinct I had flashed red. Those poor whites will be butchered and chased out. It’s obvious. Rhodesia was the cautionary tale.

The propaganda was so strong that I briefly indulged optimism. Maybe South Africa was different. A year into Mandela’s presidency, fate scripted a near miracle when the Springboks beat the formidable All Blacks in the World Cup of Rugby, a most improbable outcome.

When Nelson Mandela donned the hallowed green jersey to present the trophy to Afrikaner Francois Pienaar, ecstasy was in the air. A country previously banned from the pitch had reached the pinnacle. It was transcendent, a moment to unite a nation. It surely prophesied a bright future for the Rainbow Nation.

Cyril Ramaphosa, Julius Malema, and the rest have not finished imposing maximum democracy upon South Africa just yet. We know because Kelly Smith (archive) is behind bars:

Cyril Ramaphosa predictably defends the bloodthirsty chant:

“It’s not meant to be a message that elicits or calls upon anyone to be killed. Freedom of expression is a bedrock.”

With similar honesty, Ramaphosa denies white genocide is taking place. On this he has the backing of the globohomo establishment that effectively put his party in power, as reflected by the arrogantly mendacious libshit media (archive). Penny Sparrow, a retired real estate agent who was fined R150,000 (~$10,000) for the following Facebook post:


Vicki Momberg, who was sentenced to three years in prison (with one suspended) for calling a police officer a kaffir 48 times in succession. This word is the SA version of nigger, but doesn't have a soft-a version.

Adam Catzavelos, who received a R50,000 (~$2,750) fine or two years in prison, both suspended, for posting a video on social media where he celebrated that a beach in Greece was free of kaffirs.

What these cases have in common is that these were all private citizens, literal nobodies, and each became a giant media circus. The libtard media is hungry for racism against blacks but there's really not much of it to go round.

Most recently, displaying the old South African flag in public was ruled an act of hate speech a year or two before the same court ruled that singing Kill the Boer is not hate speech.

This flag was introduced in 1928 and thus predates apartheid. Ironically, many Afrikaner nationalists disliked it as they wanted a flag without the Union Jack (which they called a "bloodstain" due to the Boer War concentration camps). But why was this a liberation song? What was its purpose? It was intended to be chanted by young revolutionaries to psyche themselves and each other up to kill white farmers, which was part of the armed wing of the ANC's official anti-apartheid operations (archive). The full historical context, surprise, surprise, accords precisely with a surface-level reading of the lyrics.

However, in 1898, if General Joubert had been elected against Paul Kruger, this war would have been avoided. London did not want this conflict because its goal was not the end of the Boer Republics, but on the contrary their entry into a vast white federation of southern Africa (see the map on page 16 of the magazine).
