Good question. I think some of his earlier reviews were pretty sound, especially if it had anything to do with stuff like Tentacolino or Bubsy that I think anyone with a brain could see why they're bad.

It's a bit dangerous to give MrEnter the benefit of the doubt considering his arrogance and ego, but I will say: He was totally right about Seahorse Seashell Party.

It was pretty clear by the tone of the dialog and music that Family Guy was having one of its "serious" moments. It used all the same cinematic tricks it does when it's saying something "important", all for a message that is incredibly dangerous to the mindset of an abuse victim. The idea that it's their duty to serve as a "lightning rod" for their abuser's aggression is something that they can very, VERY easily get trapped into thinking, and regardless of how Meg is treated or if anyone finds it funny, that is a terrible justification for it. For this, he was completely right to get as angry as he did. He did overreact to the rest of the episode, though.

His Tentacolino review was focusing on the "WTF" factor of the movie, and he didn't rage. I liked that one.

I also agree with the points he made in his "Allen Gregory" and "Seahorse Seashell Party" reviews. Some of his more positive reviews of MLP episodes are also nice from what I remember, even if he does sperg a little.

Also, I agree with him that Ctr+Alt+Del is a shitty animation and a waste of money.

This one as far as I know. He actually sounds like a credible reviewer here.

This is another decent one and he perfectly points out the problem I had with this short; It tries too hard. It's kind of amazing he even saw that given his own oversensitivity, but there you go.

His earlier reviews were better, but to be fair he was also picking on very easy targets. I don't think there's a person in the world that couldn't riff the Bubsy cartoon or Tentacolino just because they're so incredibly bad.

He also said something in his "House Fancy" review that I can concur with. Nobody would even remember that episode if the toenail scene wasn't in it.

This raises the question, when did his reviews start to go downhill?

For me, I think his Top 10 Worst Patrick's a Prick episode list is when I first started to really have doubts in my mind about this guy. It was a video I could barely sit through without having to skip past a ton of parts and then he started getting worse and worse from there. I'd also say his Breadwinners review too for similar reasons.

For a lot of people, his Troll video really lost them.

I will give him this, even if he goes overboard in his opinions, he's right about the newer SpongeBob being not as good as the older seasons. As well as how the specials seem to be nothing but empty vessels to serve for crappy musical numbers and wasted guest star potential.

Otherwise, yeah, most of his opinions are just overblown.

His approach to The Groovenians was one of my favourite reviews.

See, in this one, he doesn't justy say why this pilot is bad. He actually offers sound, mature advice on how to improve it, rather than spewing out the insults that he doles out to Casey Alexander and Zeus Cervas. Still one of the only reviews that I actually go back to, even if it makes me feel sad that Enter didn't keep these attitudes in his more recent stuff.

He was still stupid back then. He thought he got really popular after he got a few hundred views and twenty or so comments on his Splinter review. I guess that's his ego though.

He had a few okay videos back then, but he still had a great deal of duds.
I'm not going to lie and say that "OMG! He was better when he was unknown". No, that's just not how it works. I always thought he was stupid in the majority of his opinions (not all, mind, but the vast majority).
