Good Lord what the hell is that?! This makes the previous shitty design look like a work of art. It's like if someone took a navi from Avatar, Soynic and a cup full of blue diarrhea and put them in a blender. This just has to be fake.

It's just a self taught artist whom mostly does 3D dinosaur images, nowhere does it say he works in Hollywood.
 
If you actually have to question whether or not that is real, then I'm sorry to say you're fucking autistic.

I'm impressed by his talent. His nightmare Sonic is really good at being bad, and putting his name on the soles of his shoes is a nice little touch. His dinosaur works are really good, too.
 
He only got the part from being a big name in wacky movies a long time ago.

He hasn't shown he can play a good Eggman. Eggman's not a hopping weirdo
or a grinning cock. He's far more of a
supervillain Santa Claus.
 
With a majority of the leaks about this film becoming true, this might as well be real. In which it actually does look alright, though it would have been hilarious if the redesign actually looked even worse than the original.
 
While this is a massive improvement, I can't help but feel as though this is going to lessen the hilarity of a Sonic the Hedgehog movie in theaters.

Like, when you look at the initial trailer and ignore Sonic (difficult as that is) the movie just looks bad. The story and characters don't resemble the games at all and it just looks cheesy as hell. Sonic's awful design was icing on the cake; it was so outrageously awful that the badness went full circle and looked like something fun to watch while drunk with friends. I guarantee you no one would have given this a second thought if this was the initial design they went with.

The redesign looks a lot closer to the games but now it just seems more generic bad than oh-my-God-what-the-hell-were-they-thinking bad, which isn't as fun in my opinion.
