Speaking of which any anons or kiwis here keeping up with the world cup? If feels like it's the closest thing we've had to world peace since the 2014 world cup.

I got Ivory Coast in the office pool so am hoping they can make it out of the group stage. It's looking promising - obviously they were unlikely to beat Germany but unless something weird happens with Ecuador v Germany they should. The Big Boss got Ecuador in the pool but thankfully is a jolly fellow who's unlikely to fire me for cheering about the IC-E match result. Meanwhile I trolled my Belgian friend (who loathes sportsball in any form).

Also this weekend I baked jacket potatoes properly - 60 minutes in the oven with olive oil and salt, not just microwaved. Delicious, and I have an extra one for lunch today.

Could have been worse but better, stress from helping the family pack to move to a new house very soon and daily chronic pain didn't help but i'm with people i care for and care for me, i wasn't sick and I was able to rest so it evened up. Here's hoping the weekend was ok for others
